The resource helps students understand the interconnected nature of wellbeing while developing the language skills needed to discuss healthy habits in Tamil. It also builds foundational vocabulary and knowledge that support future learning activities and prepares students for more detailed discussions.

This unit of work uses the context of weekend activities to assist students in understanding and forming simple Tamil sentences. Students are guided to discuss what they did on the weekend and to describe their experiences using the senses (i.e. what they saw, ate and touched) and specific adjectives.
E.g.: I went to beach and created a big sandcastle. (நான் கடற்கரைக்குச் சென்று பெரிய மணல் வீடு கட்டினேன்). This example covers the vocabulary related to a weekend activity, uses the verb in the past tense, and add expressions using right adjectives.

This is Tamil–English unit of work designed to introduce basic vocabulary related to the home.
