This unit of work aims to deepen students’ understanding of Tamil culture by exploring traditional Tamil food, clothing, arts, and festivals, while developing the vocabulary and language skills needed to describe and express their preferences about these cultural aspects.
This unit of work is primarily designed for Stage 2 students at a beginner level of fluency; however, differentiation activities are incorporated throughout the unit of work to support and extend students with intermediate level fluency.
